Manx Sailing & Cruising Club will be holding the Clear Drain Services coastal feeder dinghy race from Ramsey to Laxey on Saturday 1 August.

A ‘Le Mans’ type start at 10.30am from the beach outside the Club House. Keeping the Island mostly to starboard finishing at Laxey between a buoy in the bay and the flag pole on beach huts at the end of the promenade.

The race normally takes between 2 to 3 hours though with the right conditions the fastest time of 73 minutes, set by Danny Boyes in 2010 in his B14 could be broken.

All are welcome and if you are going to race in Laxey Regatta on Sunday, might as well get there by the scenic route!  Racing on Sunday starts at 11.40am for the Cruisers and 11.50am for the Dinghies.  For further details please contact Dinghy Captain Ralph Kee on 817010 or visit our website at msandcc.org or Facebook page.
