Ramsey Regatta Day One.
A superb day, sunshine and breeze, perfect conditions in Ramsey Bay produced some very close racing, two windward leeward and a P course for variety, it’s too close to call!

Ramsey Regatta Final Day.
It was looking like it was going to be a bit on the windy side and make things interesting but come start time everything had mellowed down, this left some waves without the power needed to ride them properly, although the starts had been hotly contested all weekend, everyone was ultra keen in race 5 with two general recalls.
David Batchelor proved consistency is the key to winning Regatta’s counting five 2nd’s after discard to win the Daily Mirror Trophy, Matthew Perry came second and Donald Edwards 3rd, in the Junior Series run in tandem with the main event Peter Cope pipped Teddy Dunn due to the result of the last race (both finished with 7 points) and Oscar Jackson was 3rd.

Many thanks to Officer of the Day, Keith Poole, all patrol boat crews and Regatta Tea ladies.
