The first leg was a light downwind reach to the Point of Ayre in the early morning sunshine. Despite the following tidal current it still took the fleet around 2 hours to cover the 7 miles from the start line off Ramsey’s South Stone Pier. Manx Sailing & Cruising Club are holding their Dinghy Regatta on Saturday 4 July, start time 13.00 and Sunday 5 July, start time 13.30.
