MS&CC have the agreement with the Water Authority from December to March 31st. The charge for sailors for this season will be \u00a325 per boat,reduced to \u00a320 for under – 18 yrs. Alternatively \u00a35 per session.
\nSailing will be scheduled on Sundays and Boxing Day. First start 10.00 hrs (probably later on Boxing Day).
\nAll boats have to be sterilised nearby before they go onto the reservoir and thereafter any time they are taken away. We plan to do the boat cleansing this weekend – 3rd & 4th December. We shall aim to be there at 11.00 on Saturday. I have the solution and mops and buckets. BYO marigolds. Please also bring your cheque book.
\nSailing this Sunday is possible.
\nAttached are the sailing instructions and a summary of the Water Authority’s Conditions and a map of the reservoir.
\nI hope we will get a good turnout up there this winter, so that we have some good racing over the winter. The conditions can be demanding and it is good practice for pond sailing – I would recommend it to all of the aspiring youth sailors. Please give it a go.
