Watling Streetworks Winter Series - 22 January 2023

Watling Streetworks Winter Series - 26 February 2023
‘About as good as it gets’ is the best way to describe conditions for the final round of the Watling Streetworks February Series. Unusually for the West Baldwin reservoir the wind coming from the north down the valley not only gives almost full coverage of wind but also tames the gusts and lulls. Watling Streetworks Winter Dinghy Series 2022-2023

Manx Sailing & Cruising Club are pleased to announce that once again Manx Utilities are allowing us to use West Baldwin Reservoir to hold our Winter Dinghy Series.

Weather permitting the first race of the ‘Watling Streetworks Winter Series’ will be on Sunday 6 November and every Sunday morning starting at 10.00am through to Sunday 26 March 2023. Injebreck – Sailing Instructions 2022 2023 and Sailing-Area.

As part of the Conditions for Sailing and Boating on West Baldwin Reservoir (MSCC)2022 with Manx Utilities all boats must be cleaned before sailing on the reservoir. This can be carried out on Saturday 5 November between 10.00 and 13.00 though cleaning solution will also be available each Sunday morning before racing. All competitors are requested to read the Conditions for Sailing which can be found at the above link..

The charge for the entire series will be £50.00 per boat for Adults, £25.00 per boat for those under 18 or in full time education or a nominal fee for occasional sailors. You can book and pay here Injebreck Boat Parking & Race Fee.
