Great turnout of competitors for the event

The ‘Designer Glass Laser Regatta 2023’ took place on Saturday, a very ambitious programme of six races was planned which we actually managed to pull off despite constant course adjustments because of the ever switching breeze.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming a guest starter for the first three races, ‘The Guv’ Sir John Lorimer.

The Standard Rig title was taken by Donald Edwards closely followed by James Bishop, second and Jason Hyett third.

The Radial title was lifted by Simon Pressly with Andrew Dean a close second and Ivan Nicholls who brought some youth to the podium with an excellent third place.

The overall Trophy was retained by Simon Pressly.
