What a fantastic day at the MS&CC Easter Regatta! Manx Sailing & Cruising Club are holding their Dinghy Regatta on Saturday 4 July, start time 13.00 and Sunday 5 July, start time 13.30. Sailing instructions for the event can be found at this link - MS&CC Regatta 2026 - Sailing Instructions.
The sailing on Sunday will be followed by a Prizegiving and Regatta Tea for all competitors and volunteers at around 4pm.
The first leg was a light downwind reach to the Point of Ayre in the early morning sunshine. Despite the following tidal current it still took the fleet around 2 hours to cover the 7 miles from the start line off Ramsey’s South Stone Pier. Unfortunately our original Easter Regatta date clashed with Storm 'Dave' so we've had to postpone the event, our new date is now Sunday 19 April.
This is a One Day Event with three races to be held “back to back”, with racing starting at 11.00 and expected to be fully completed at 14:30 – IOM Copiers Easter Regatta 2026-Sailing Instructions.
We hope to see as many competitors as possible in Ramsey Bay...
