The season opener of the Bourne Plaice Winter Series dinghy racing took place on Sunday morning in what can only be described as mixed conditions. This time last year the opening round was cancelled due to high winds, this year the Baldwin valley threw everything at the excellent turnout of 18 crews, sun, spicy gusts, hail, torrential downpours, massive windshifts and of course vicious calms.
