A bright, chilly, morning with a frisky North to North-Westerly wind welcomed the 13 racing crews (and of course patrol boat crew) to Injebreck on Sunday morning for the latest round of the Bourne Plaice Winter Series. The fluffy cumulus clouds showed that the forecast strong to gale force wind approaching the Island from the Arctic was being forced up and what goes up must come down which it duly did in some really quite violent gusts bearing down on us from the hills.
