Bright and breezy conditions greeted the 10 competitors for the first two races in the December Bourne Plaice Winter Series.   The wind was from the north, giving it the opportunity to play dirty tricks with gusts changing direction suddenly.  Despite this there was only one capsize all morning; Mike Pridham fell in before the start of racing, his total immersion prompting thoughts of upgrading from wet- to dry-suit.  Click here for the full report – Bourne Plaice Winter Series – 3 December 2017
